Daryl Markiewicz

Daryl Markiewicz, B.F.A., is an interdisciplinary artist working in British Columbia, Canada. His art is primarily focused on, but not limited to, mixed media sculpture, installations, and performance art. Markiewicz states "Each of these practices offer unique possibilities to express an idea or feeling. Through my art I hope to not only create something pleasing to the eye, but to also cause the viewer to have an emotional response and provoke thought." 

 

Markiewicz has also been an active fire & flow artist since 2009. He regularly performs solo and with Vancouver based fire troupe Radiant Heat across British Columbia and the pacific northwest of the USA, as well as at the annual Burning Man festival in Nevada.
